GM University Sambalpur UG & PG Admission 2018-19 Online Application Form


Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur has issued the admission notification for the admission into various UG/ PG and Self-financing courses for the admission session 2018-19. GM University Sambalpur admission will be done by online mode. The GM University P.G. Online Application 2018 is available in the website from 25-05-2018 to 10-06-2018 (12 AM) and the GM University U.G. Online Application is available upto 04-07-2018 (midnight) . Last date for submission of hard copy of the application with supporting documents is for P.G is  12-06-2018 (1:30 PM). and yhe last date of receipt if U.G. hard copy is 06.07.2018. Admission to UG courses will be as per marks obtained in the qualifying examination while admission to PG courses will be on the basis career marks & entrance examination (50:50).

UG Courses List With No. Of Seats :

All the UG Courses are Full time Regular and the admission is Readmission type.

UG Course : Admission to UG courses will be as per marks obtained in the qualifying examination

Eligibility forU.G. Admission :

  1. The minimum eligibility for admission to +3 classes shall  be pass in Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) of the Council of Higher Secondary Examination (CHSE), Odisha or its Equivalent examination. 
  2. A student passing +2 Science can apply for all the streams at +3 levels. A student passing +2 Arts or +2 Commerce can apply either for +3 Arts subjects or for +3 Commerce subjects.  
  3. A student who wishes to apply for „Biological Science‟ stream in +3 Science should have Biology at +2 levels. 
  4.  A student who wishes to apply for Mathematics/Statistics as Honours/Core subject must have Mathematics/Statistics as a subject at the +2 level respectively. 
  5. As per the Govt. rules, that the marks secured by the students passing from the Board / Council other than CHSE, Odisha shall be validated as the total marks secured out of the maximum marks shown in the mark sheet. There should not be any consideration of best subject combination, deduction of extra optional, etc. 
  6. For Diploma passed students,  He/She must have passed in all the semester examinations and been issued with the (Provisional Certificate-cum-memorandum of marks) clearly indicating semester wise marks. 

PG Courses List With No. Of Seats :


All the courses under PG course list is Regular and the process of admission is readmission type. Only candidates have to face entrance to take admission into M.Phil Courses.

PG Course : Admission to PG courses will be on the basis career marks & entrance examination (50:50).No separate admit card / hall ticket will be issued to candidate for the entrance test. All applicants are required to sit in the PG-entrance examination as per the schedule given in the prospectus available on the website.

Self-Financing Course:

Self-Financing Course : Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission in to the Self- Financing Integrated BA-B.Ed & B.Sc.-B.Ed, courses for the session 2018-19. For more details visit the university website www.gmuniversity.ac.in.

How To Apply :

Candidates shall fill up the admission form online on the University website www.gmuniversity.ac.in and submit the downloaded hard copy along with the required documents and fees at the university counter or by Speed / Registered Post.

Candidates can visit the University website to download other information and the Admission information bulletin (prospectus). The on-line application form is available on website from dt.26-05-2018 to 10.06.2018 (12 mid night) .

Last Date of Submission :

The last date of on-line submission of application form is 30.6.2018 (12.00 midnight) and submission of hardcopy of application form duly filled in along with required documents is 02.07.2018 up to 5.00pm.
